Saskatchewan offers one of the most affordable property registration systems in Canada — there’s no land transfer tax at all.

Instead, you’ll pay a title transfer registration fee based on your property’s value:
• $0 for properties under $500
• $25 for properties between $501 and $6,300
• 0.4% of the value for anything over $6,300

Although there’s no rebate for first-time buyers, Saskatchewan’s low fees make homeownership costs refreshingly light.
